Chicago is the third-largest urban area in the United States, home to 9 million people. Chicago arts, religious, and activist/organizing communities help shape American culture and global movements for justice and peace. The Fireplace is located on the edge of the Hyde Park and Kenwood neighborhoods on Chicago’s South Side.
